Daniel Baer Obituary

Daniel Edward Baer, age 78, passed away at his home in Medina, Ohio on April 14, 2024.  He was born July 11, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Edward and Eleanor (O’Neill) Baer.

Daniel was in the United States Army from 1967 to 1971. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, and hunting. He was an expert marksman.

Daniel is survived his sisters, Kathleen (Steve) Kristoff, Peggy (Lou, deceased) Baer-Park; brother, James Baer.  Preceded in death by his sister, Carole (Linda Arnone) Young; Life Partner, Bette Sabin.  He is also survived by Bette’s daughter, Debra (Brian) Jacob; grandchildren, Nathan (Jacqueline) Camarda, Taylor (Steven) Saxon; great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Elyse Camarda, and Jacob Saxon.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 4:00-7:00PM at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave, Painesville Ohio.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 242 N State Street in Painesville Ohio.  PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH

A burial will take place on Monday April 22, 2024, at 10:45 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273.
