Darlene Rosemary Swiger went to be with the Lord at the age of 57 years old. She was born in Ohio and spent most of her adult life in Oklahoma.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Lee Swiger; daughters, Amanda (Josh) Shinault and Jamie Swiger; brothers, Leary Swiger and C. Jay Swiger; sisters, Shandra Shahan, Verna Rose, and Lola Basham; grandchildren, Brailyn, Jozlyn and Hunter Shinault, Kyla, Knoa, and River Swiger.
Darlene was preceded in death by her brothers, Bernard Swiger, James Swiger, and her parents, Clarance J. and Agnes Opal Swiger.
Darlene loved to travel and explore the world. She loved to write. She wrote mostly about her experiences along her journey and other things. She was very artistic and would always be drawing or making arts and crafts. Darlene was an adamant gardener and loved tending to her flowers. She was very down to earth and loved being outdoors.
Darlene loved her children and her grandchildren very much.
Darlene Rosemary Swiger was a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a mother, and a friend to many. She will forever be loved and greatly missed.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
