David T Burkey

David T. Burkey, age 69, passed away June 20, 2025, at his residence in Geneva.  He was born January 17, 1956, in Painesville to David S. Burkey and Arletta (Sweeney) Burkey. 

David worked for Mastech Panel Systems for many years.

David enjoyed traveling the country hunting and fishing. He enjoyed riding his Harley along with his brothers and spending time with his family. 

David is survived by his daughters, Ruth Simmons and Rachel Burkey; sisters, Margo (Abimael) Santiago and Diann (Juan) Rosario; brothers, Keith Burkey and Kevin Burkey; fiancé, Donna Laughner.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John C. Burkey, Mark A. Burkey and his parents.

Friends will be received 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, June 30, 2025, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
