After graduating from Huntingdon High School in 1961, Dollie moved to Cleveland, Ohio to attend Carnegie College. She started her career as a Lab Technician at Highland View Hospital. After marrying, she was a stay-at-home mom raising her two children. She enjoyed watching their activities and sporting events; spending many summers at the baseball fields.  She continued to enjoy watching her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events as well. Dollie made her way back into the chemistry field working at Calhio Chemical Company and Argo-Tech while attending Lakeland Community College and Cleveland State University.
