Dominic Alesci Jr., age 31, passed away June 30, 2023, at his residence in Mentor. He was born September 21, 1991, in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
Dominic enjoyed taking hikes and going for walks with his dogs and his family and friends. His heart was the size of the sun and that's what he was, all sunshine, he just made everyone happier. He loved to fix things and help anyone in need in any way possible. He is the most caring kind hearted person and could make anyone laugh on command. He listened to the jerky boys and enjoyed movies and tv shows, like Fast and the Furious and, Prison Break, The Flash and also Green Arrow. He was the most protective person and would not take crap from anyone or let anyone get pushed around. Dominic would gladly give you his shirt off his back if you needed it. His love for his brothers and family were unconditional. Family and loyalty was everything to him and he would never turn his back on anyone for any reason. He was a loving uncle and left his mark on every soul he touched. He would go to war if you asked him and be the front person there. Dominic did love to throw parties and get togethers and you could always depend on him for everything. He could take apart and fix things never seeing them before. His favorite thing to eat were starburst minis. His laugh was the most contagious trait about him he loved making people laugh and reciting lines from movies with his brother Frankie. He could recite a line out of nowhere and could tell what movie was playing within seconds of any scene. He truly was an angel and always watched over everyone which I know he will continue to do. His favorite thing in life was his dog Roscoe, it was his sidekick and went everywhere with him...his Robin to his Batman. I know they will be watching over all of us. Dominic loved rock climbing and was unstoppable up the wall. He could find something if it was lost, he was always the one who found it. He had the most creative mind and the most determination of anyone I've ever seen. He loved his parents like no other. He was probably one of the most talented cooks in the world. He could make anything and it would be the best meal you've ever had. It was truly amazing how talented Dominic was. He was a diamond in the rough and one of a kind unmatched and unrivaled. Dominic Alesci will always be apart of us all and watching over and protecting everyone one of us. I am one of many to be blessed to have had him apart of my life and so grateful to have him as my brother. We will never forget you and I couldn't have been more thankful to call you my brother. Godspeed DJ. Dominic Michael Vito Alesci Junior, it was an honor and remain an honor. Until we meet again ….
