Donnie L. Davis

Donnie L. Davis, age 86 of Painesville, passed away at his home on September 24, 2024.

He was born on June 4, 1938 to the late Charles and Virginia (Moyer) Davis in Flemington, WV and had been a lifelong resident.

Donnie was a U.S. Army veteran having served from 1961 to 1963.  He worked for the Avery Dennison Corporation for many years.  Donnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golfing.

Donnie is survived by his daughters, Donna Susnjara, Sandra Sullivan and Lorna McFadden of Painesville, Christine Boothe of Grantsville, WV; sons, Charles (Tracy) Davis of Fairport Harbor, OH, Jeff (Sandy) Barnard of Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH, Ray Leggett of Painesville; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Davis, Terry Davis, Roy “Sonny” Davis, George “Bob” Davis, and sister, Linda Giffin.

Friends will be received 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Monday, September 30, 2024, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 1st, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Perry Cemetery.
