Donnie E Nesselrotte

Don Nesselrotte, age 70, passed away December 25, 2023, at his residence.  He was born June 22, 1953, in Webster Spring, West Virginia to James Owen and Frankie J. (Barnette) Nesselrotte.

Don worked for Painesville City schools for over 30 years doing maintenance and painting.   He was also a member of Perry’s Volunteer Fire Department for several years.

Don is survived by his mother, Frankie Nesselrotte; son, Michael “Mike” Nesselrotte (Tracy); daughter, Laura Nesselrotte (Shelly Staley); 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca (Collins) Nesselrotte; his father and his brother, James Michael Nesselrotte.

Don suffered a long-time illness, but he passed at home surrounded by his family. We are forever grateful to the team from Ohio Living Hospice for the compassionate care and comfort they provided to Don. 

Friends will be received 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. A private graveside service to be arranged at a later date.
