Doris Titus Obituary

Doris Jean Titus, age 87, passed away February 20, 2021 at her residence in Painesville Township following a period of declining health.  She was born July 31, 1933 in Dennison, Ohio, to Charles and Vivian (Gatchel) Beckley.

Doris was a homemaker who loved sewing.  She was a resident of Painesville Township since 1965 and was a life-time member of Lakeside Baptist Church.  

Doris was the mother of seven children, and she will be dearly missed by all of them, Joseph (Theresa) Smith and Charles Smith; Barbara (Bobby) Farinas, Deborah (Dave) Potter, Rebecca (Lou) Noggy and Penny (Dave) Sherwood; grandchildren, Steven (Jenn) Smith, Brian (Chelsea) Workman, Shelbie (Steve) Christmyer, Benjamin (Yvette) Smith, Melissa (Michael) Smith, Jamie (Jay) Maier, Shelly Thompson, Mandy Farinas, Richie Farinas, Gene Titus, Jessie Titus and Lisa Titus; great grandchildren, Selena Farinas, Tanner Workman and Logan Workman; siblings, Donnie (Terry) Beckley, Pat (Fred) Johnson, Judy (Wayne) Stull, Beverly (Larry) Webber, and Amy (George) Specht

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Joseph Ray Smith; her husband, Arnett Marshall Titus; son, Gregory Titus; infant sister, Fay Louise; brothers, Orlo, David, Edward, Glen and Raymond; and her parents.

With respect for the safety of others due to the Covid 19 pandemic, private services will be held for family members only at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
