Dorothy A. (Woodford) Lintala

Dorothy A. Lintala, age 83, passed away July 16, 2023, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.  She was born January 29, 1940, in Painesville, Ohio to Sterling and Pearl (Gebeau) Woodford.

Dorothy was an LPN and worked for Homestead Nursing Home.  She was also a retired bus driver for the Painesville Township School System.  She was a member of Concord Alliance Church.  Dorothy enjoyed quilting and crocheting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Mark (Sandy) Lintala; daughters, Susan Lintala and Jennifer (Bart) Davenport; sister, Betty Hall; brother, John Woodford; grandchildren, Brooke Lintala (Mitchell McGuire), Kyle Lintala (Jessica), Mary Lintala, Gavin Davenport, and Callie Davenport; great grandchildren, Mitchell, Kayleigh, Greyson, and Ruby.

She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Lintala in 1996 and her parents.

Friends will be received 10:00 AM– 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.   Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon.  Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
