Funeral Services for Dwight Lane Williams, 82, of Ashtabula, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Friends will be received from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 24th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
Dwight was born August 17, 1937 in Heaters, West Virginia to Frank E. and Clara (Conrad) Williams. He passed away January 21, 2020 in Ashtabula.
Dwight was a mechanic and over the years he worked for the Rayon IRC Fibers, ABC Driveway, ABC Motor Freight, Concord Paving, Farinacci, Whitt, and Rimes Trucking. He operated the Texaco Gas Station and he also sold produce. Dwight enjoyed gardening, bowling, and stock car racing.
Dwight is survived by his companion, Dessandra Hill; sons, Steven Williams of Ashtabula and Dennis (Peggy) Williams of Perry; daughters, Diane (Dan) Frey of Madison and Kim (Tim) Jalovec of Geneva; brothers, Darrel Williams of Perry and Dale (Diane) Williams of Painesville; sisters-in-law, Valerie Williams, and Pam Williams; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Raines) Williams; daughter, Debbie (Dean) Lambert; his parents; siblings, Denzil, Dana, Dwayne, Donnie, Danny Williams; Sue (Rich) Smith and Harley Conrad.
