Eardie Dean Edwards, of Painesville, Ohio, transitioned peacefully in the early morning hours of May 5th, 2021. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville Township, followed by a private memorial later this year.
Dean, as she MUCH preferred to be addressed, is predeceased by six sisters, one brother, her ex-husband -- Earl Edwards, and their son, Daniel.
Although she was born and raised in Tennessee, she's lived her entire adult life in NE Ohio. She and Earl raised five children here: two daughters – Adrea Easten, and Sue Edwards, and three sons – Roger, Dave, and Daniel Edwards (deceased); she also helped raise her beloved grandson, Oryan LeRoy. She will be greatly missed by two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and ONE much-loved great-great grandbaby.
Those of us who loved her most will remember her for her lifelong career in childcare, her yardening green-thumb, her delight in late-night old movies, her deep devotion to porch-sitting, and her tireless 'hobby' of rearranging! But as most of us live to discover, it’s a hundred little things that will haunt our hearts with love…for the rest of OUR lives…
