Eleanor L. (Francis) Davis

Eleanor L. Davis, age 90, passed away January 14, 2026, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  She was born January 7, 1936, in Henrietta, West Virginia to Paul Francis and Merle (Bennett) Francis.

Eleanor was a loving, devoted mother who always put her children first.  She was very generous to anyone in need and always put others needs above her own.  Eleanor enjoyed gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Eleanor worked for Chardon Rubber Company for many years followed by a long career as a Home Health Aid.  She enjoyed singing and playing the piano in her church.  She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Painesville and was a Deaconess at the church for over 47 years.  She also taught Sunday school for several years. 

Eleanor is survived by her children, Lorna McFadden, Ray Leggett, Donna Susnjara, Sandra Sullivan and Charles Davis; brother, William Charles "Chuck" Francis; sister, Paulette (Omer) Stull; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Boothe; brothers, Howard Francis, Robert Francis and Encil Francis; sister, June Corbett, and her parents.

Family and friends will be received 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 23rd, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Perry Cemetery.
