Elmer G. Lawrence

Elmer George Lawrence, age 96, passed away May 30, 2025, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.  He was born April 24, 1929, in Painesville Township to John and Elizabeth (Szekeres) Lawrence.

Elmer served in the United States Air Force and was a life-time Lake County resident.  He worked for Thompson Products, and in the construction industry, for many years.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

Elmer is survived by his sister, Peggy Marks, of Mentor and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank J. Lawrence Sr., Victor A. Lawrence, William P. Lawrence, John R. Lawrence; sisters, Alice Lance and Martha Butler.
