Elton L. Miller, age 90, passed away January 13, 2022, at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born March 6, 1931, in Willard, Ohio to John and Mary (Foltz) Miller.
Elton served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a pipe fitter and maintenance worker for the Diamond Shamrock Corp. He also worked for Northcoast Copper. He retired from Chase Brass & Copper in 1993.
Elton enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing softball in his younger days. He loved to go camping and spent over 40 years camping at Pine Lakes Campgrounds.
Elton is survived by his son, Russell E. Miller; grandson, Shane Miller; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Emma Miller; and brother, Thomas Miller.
He was preceded in death in 1991, by his wife, Beverly (Topping) Miller, whom he married the day before being shipped to Korea; brothers, Richard Miller and Landis Miller; sister, Eunice Miller; and his parents.
Friends will be received from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
