Emma Ruth (Conner) Garland

Emma Ruth Garland, age 87, passed away August 6, 2023, at Concord Village Nursing and Rehab.  She was born January 5, 1936, in Morgantown West Virginia, to Arthur M. and Bessie F. (Bradford) Conner.

Emma was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Emma and her husband, William, owned and operated a Snyder Potato Chip franchise for many years.                                                      

She enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

Emma is survived by her son, William (Ruth) Garland Jr. of Aiken, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband William L. Garland in 1987, and her parents.

Friends will be received 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
