Eugene Samuel Canfield

Eugene S. Canfield, age 90, passed away June 15, 2024, at Vista Springs in Concord Twp. Ohio. He was born on March 10, 1934, in Corry, PA to Eugene Canfield Sr. and Arlene (Vettenburg) Canfield.

He was an Engineer and business owner in heavy highway construction.

Eugene is survived by son, Mark (Kathy) Canfield; daughter, Michelle (Todd) Sweeney; grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Amy, Tiffany, Sam, Madeline, Ryan, John, Craig, Kevin, John and Luke; sister, Marjorie Brink.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores; son, Kevin Canfield; his parents; brother, Allen Canfield; and sister, Marilyn Abt.

Graveside services for Eugene will be 11:30 AM Tuesday June 18, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery 385 Riverside Drive, Painesville, OH, 44077.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.
