Evelyn J. Ryan

Evelyn Ryan, age, 86, passed away December 10th, 2023, at Grand River Health and Rehab Center.  She was born January 21st, 1937, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, to John and Freda (Robinson) Beckner.

She enjoyed spending time with her husband of 68 years, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to garage sales, playing the lottery and going to casinos.

She was employed with Lake Hospital Systems in the dietary department for years before becoming a full time homemaker.

Evelyn is survived by her loving husband Lawrence Ryan, daughter Carol (Al) Christie, son Richard (Traci) Ryan, daughter Debbie Elersic. Grandchildren: Kevin (Aimie) Brown, Scott (Kristy) Christie, Jason (Sue) Brown, Jeremy (April) Christie, Donovan (Caitlyn) Ryan, Steven (Courtney) Ryan, Michael Ryan and Amber Ryan.  Many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ruby and Mavis. Brothers Herb, Dale, and Marlin.

Calling hours will be 11:00AM-12:00PM on December 14th 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. A burial at Concord Cemetery on Friday December 15th at 11:00 AM.
