Fern L. (Watt) Peters

Fern L. Peters, age 78, passed away November 28, 2025, in Painesville, Ohio.   She was born August 28, 1947, in Painesville to Jim Watt and Gladys (Bower) Watt.

Fern was an accountant and worked for Namco Controls, PCC Airfoils and North East Refrigeration for many years. She loved boating and was a member of the Fairport Harbor Yacht Club and Rivers Edge Yacht Club.  She enjoyed Jazzercize and she made beautiful holiday cards.

Fern is survived by her husband, Gary Peters and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Watt; sisters, Martha Duncan and Grace Murphy; and her parents.

Friends will be received 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will be at11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 3rd at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
