Frederick Earl Caplinger

Frederick Earl Caplinger, age 83, passed away July 14, 2025, at Mary Mount Hospital in Garfield Heights, Ohio.  He was born September 7, 1941, in Akron to Jesse Hobart Caplinger and Bertha (Black) Caplinger.

Frederick is survived by his daughters, Mary Klann, Angela Roberts and Aimee (Stephen) Simpson; son, Timothy “Scott” Caplinger; sister, Marilyn (Chuck) Bonnel; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Caplinger and his parents.

Graveside services will be 11:30 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Mentor Cemetery.
