Helen Baber Obituary
Helen May Baber, age 87, passed away January 8, 2022, at Brookdale of Wickliffe. She was born May 7, 1934, in Painesville to Charles J. and Elizabeth M. (Martin) Lodge.
Helen retired from the Lake County Treasurer’s Office after 29 years. She enjoyed gardening, bird-watching and NASCAR. She held a ham radio license (W8EFB) for more than 50 years.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Brenda Baber of Mentor; son, Dean (Anne) Baber of Painesville Twp; grandchildren, Lee, Sara, and Matthew; great grandchildren, Harrison and Dottie; and brother, James Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Baber; sister-in-law, Beverly Lodge; and her parents.
Graveside services will be held at a later time.
