Herman H. Land

Herman H. Land, age 84, passed away May 9, 2024, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.  He was born March 18, 1940, in Benedict, Lee County, Virginia to James and Flora (Bunch) Land.

Herman was a machinist and worked for Coe Manufacturing for many years.  He was a member of Lake Erie Church of God in Madison.  Herman enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and watching baseball.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Herman is survived by his wife, Brenda Land; sons, James Land, Jeffrey (Misty) Land, Timothy (Denise) Land and Henry Land; sisters, Betty Stenson and Zelma Parsons; Fourteen grandchildren and Nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wanda Padgett; and brothers, James Ralph Land, C. J. Land, Ed Land and Robbie Land.

Family and friends will be received 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Monday, May 13, 2024, at Lake Erie Church of God, 2300 Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio.    Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12 Noon.  Burial will be at Perry Cemetery.
