Jacqueline A. Fulmer, age 84, of Perry, Ohio, passed away January 1, 2025, in Concord Township, Ohio, surrounded by her daughters. Jackie was born December 7, 1940, and grew up in Washington, Pennsylvania with parents, Jennie and Harold McConnell and her sister, Kathy.
Jackie spent her career as a devoted nurse and educator. From bedside to management, she played a role in all aspects of patient care. Her expertise extended well beyond the hospital setting. From bumps and bruises, to CPR, Jackie was always willing to help.
She was an avid reader, frequently visiting the Perry Public Library in her hunt for a new best seller. Although born a Steeler’s fan, she came to love the Browns and the Buckeyes, too. She loved Jeopardy and often beat the buzzer and contestants in her living room.
In later years, spending time with her family was her greatest love. Throughout her life, she wore many hats, but her favorites were “Mom”, ”Grandma”, and “Great Grandma”.
Jackie is survived by her children, Cindy (Ron) Zauski, Shelley (Rob) Lundegard, Jenifer (Ryan) Sprague; grandchildren, Dan (Nicole) Zauski and Ben (Olivia) Zauski, Stephen (Casey) Lupton, Autumn Marasciula, Emily Sprague and Zachary Sprague; great granddaughter, Ava Peery.
