James Alan Hobson

James Alan Hobson, age, 75, passed away on November 3, 2023, at his home in Concord Township, Ohio. He was born October 8, 1948, in Painesville, Ohio to Percival and Lucille Hobson (Starkey)

James served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969.  He worked for De Nora Tech for over 34 years.  James enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, being an umpire, hanging out at B-Rox Grill. 

He is survived by his children; Brooke Hobson, Jay (Karen) Davis, Jo Ellen (Tim) Clark, Trevor (Amanda) Wolff. Grandchildren: Trevor Davis, Nick Clark, and Heather Mullins, as well as 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Fuller and his parents.

Friends will be received 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.   Funeral Services will immediately follow at 6:00 PM.

A burial of ashes will take place at a later date at Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
