James E. Murphy

James E. Murphy, age 84, passed away August 4, 2025, at his residence in Kirtland Hills.  He was born January 8, 1941, in Painesville to Edward J. Murphy and Esther S. (Peltoma) Murphy.

James was an insurance salesman for many years.  He enjoyed going to the YMCA and lifting weights.  He especially enjoyed taking care of his cat, having lunch and spending time with his friends.

James is survived by his brother, Charles (Coletta) Murphy and his sister, Lois Conry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Murphy and his parents.

There will be no funeral services at this time.
