Jane Sandstrom Obituary

Jane M. Sandstrom, age 76, passed away August 26, 2024, in Ashtabula, Ohio.   She was born October 3, 1947, in Painesville to Emil and Virginia (Loxterman) Sandstrom.

Jane was a registered nurse and worked for Lake Hospital Systems for many years. 

She enjoyed gardening, athletics, traveling, creating art, collecting Hummels, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her children, Scott Bilek, Heather (David) Staffiera and Darin (Kristina) Bilek; sisters, Doris (John) Cutlip, Joan (John) Snyder and Gail (Robert) Erzen; sisters-in-law, Andrea Sandstrom, Chris Sandstrom, and Becky Mann; grandchildren, Ethan, William, Nina, Cecilia and Thomas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Virginia; brothers, Alan Sandstrom and William Sandstrom; sister, Pamela Jo Sandstrom.

Friends will be received 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM.  Inurnment will take place at Madison Fairview Memorial Cemetery on a later date.
