Jean Claire (Roller) Smith

Jean Claire Smith, 78, of Perry, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Smith; her daughter, Maggie Smith (John); her son, Todd Smith (Carrie); her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Denzil Shewa), Joshua Brainard, Jared Smith (Emily McRoberts), and Devin Smith; and her great-grandson, Nolan Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hildegarde Roller; her brother, Robin Roller; and her sister, Allison Terry.

Born in Cleveland and raised in Chesterland, Ohio, Jean was a vibrant and accomplished woman. In her youth, she was a head drum majorette, leading with grace and enthusiasm. She went on to build a successful career in capital equipment sales and loved politics.

Jean lived life to the fullest, embracing her passions for horses, boating, the beach, gambling, and golf. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
