Jean Marie (Risaliti) Dollar

Jean Marie Dollar, age, 85 passed away January 1, 2025, at Symphony of Mentor.  She was born November 25th, 1939, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to 1st generation Italian parents Nello and Elma (Pucci) Risaliti.

She graduated from Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in 1960, where she received the “Outstanding Nursing Award”.  Jean married Edward on June 3, 1961. She attended Case Western Reserve and became certified in cardiac intensive care.  She worked at Geneva Memorial Hospital CCU for 15 years.  Jean and her husband managed Madison Health Care in Unionville and they retired in 1999.

Jean enjoyed cooking, sipping wine at the wineries, boating and traveling. She also volunteered at the Food Pantry at Immaculate Conception Church and taught Vacation Bible School at St. Anthony’s in Fairport.

Jean is survived by her spouse Edward Dollar; son, Edward Joseph (Jeanne) Dollar; daughters Barbara (Mark) Titus, and Marybeth (Terry) Barno. sister, Linda Capozzoli; grandchildren, Rhianna, Sophia, and Ryan Dollar, Courtney and Bailey Barno; great grandchildren, Evie, Isla and Nova.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 7:30 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 523 Plum St. Fairport, OH 44077.
