Jean “Tina” (Arnold) Evanchuck, age 68, passed away at Lake West Medical Center October 4, 2020. She was born November 22, 1951 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey to Irvin and Loretta (Feeney) Arnold.
Tina was a 1970 graduate of Harvey High School. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from Lake Erie College. She loved her job and was a project manager for ABB Inc. in Cleveland for over eight years.
Tina was a mentor to many children and was very active in the literary program at Morley Library. She also tutored many children. She especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairport Harbor and was also a member of the Chinese Auction Committee for St. Mary Church in Painesville for many years. Tina had a wonderful sense of humor and will truly be missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Brian) Cassidy; sons, Kyle (Leah) Evanchuck and Tom (Melissa) Evanchuck; sister, Alene (Bill) Slenski; brothers, Jack (Vicki) Arnold and Jim (Libby) Arnold.; grandchildren, Jack, Luke, Mary, Emma and Tommy.
Tina was preceded in death by her grandson, James; brother, Bill Arnold; and her parents.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 9, 2020 at Concord Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
