Jeffrey "Michael" Rust, age 72, passed away March 20, 2026, at his residence in Concord Township.  He was born April 3, 1953, in Yonkers, New York to Robert Rust and Jane (Keller) Rust.

Michael was 1971 graduate of Riverside High School and Lakeland Community College.  He was a salesman in the steel, sign, and insurance industries for many years.  He had a great appreciation for music and art.  His cat, Rodney, held a special place in his heart.

Michael is survived by his wife, Patricia (McCarthy) Rust; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay Rust and Dr. Lori Rust of Newbury, Doug Rust and Debbie Rust of Concord Township; dear friends, Don and Diane of Long Beach, California; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held at a later date.
