Jill Ann Carlson-Kosir

 Jill Ann Carlson-Kosir, age 50, passed away January 8, 2022, at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township. She was born May 13, 1971, in Painesville to Karl and Patricia (Kapostasy) Carlson.

Jill was a 1989 graduate of Lake Catholic High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kent State University in 1994. Jill went on to work in the banking industry and ultimately became a corporate officer for U.S. Bank and worked there for many years. She appreciated dance and loved to listen to all kinds of music. She enjoyed the sunny and warm weather which allowed her to plant beautiful flowers in her yard and take trips to the beach. She loved snuggles from her dogs almost as much as the company of her family and friends. Her smile was big, warm, and welcoming and could always be counted on to light up the room. She will be remembered fondly with every open door and big hug given between those who loved her.

Jill is survived by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Kosir; her parents; brother, Chris Carlson; sister, Kim (Kevin) Filiatraut;  and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial for Jill will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 14, 2022, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, Ohio.  Friends will be received 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 13th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.   Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
