John H. Crawford

John H. Crawford Jr., age 82, passed away October 25, 2024, at University Hospital in Cleveland.  He was born January 19, 1942, in Painesville to John H. Crawford Sr. and Mary (Skrabec) Crawford.

John worked for Uniroyal for over 35 years, retiring in 1999.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  John’s pride was in his family.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and friends.   He was a lifetime member of The Lake County Rod and Gun Club of Madison and a lifetime member of the Geneva Eagles.  John also enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his wife of 61 years. 

John is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Murray) Crawford; son, John (Kim) Crawford; sister, Janice Campbell; daughter in law Amy DiGia, grandchildren, Alexis Crawford, Kyle Alexander, Jessica Collier and Jayme (Kyle) Skoczen; great grandchildren, Olivia Collier, Aliana Collier and Emily Collier.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael A. Crawford and his parents.

Friends will be received 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Friday, November 1, 2024, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM.
