Julio Padro Lugo

Julio Padro Lugo, age 77, passed away November 28, 2025, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township, Ohio.   He was born January 10, 1948, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Marcelino Padro and Petra Lugo.

Julio was a machinist and worked for COE Manufacturing for many years.  He was a member of the First Church Congregational in Painesville.  He especially loved taking long walks in the Metro Parks and on the beach, with his wife, Kathie.  Julio had a wonderful sense of humor   He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians, landscaping, bowling, playing cards and cooking.  He had a special fondness for his dog, Mindy.

Julio is survived by his wife, Kathie Lugo; daughter, Celina Lugo; brothers, Hector Lugo and Cito Lugo; sisters, Gladis, Enriqueta and Lavinia.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Doreen Ambrose; and brothers-in-law, Rick Strange and Jeffrey Strange.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marcelino.

Funeral services are pending at First Church Congregational in Painesville.
