Karen M. Boerner, age 75, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born August 23, 1948, in Painesville to Lawrence “Larry” and Natalie “Nan” (Thompson) Moser.
Karen was employed by Sears Roebuck & Company for over 20 years. She also worked at Bellflower Elementary We Care after school program for Mentor Public Schools. Karen enjoyed dancing, baking – especially nisu bread and Christmas cookies, sewing, bowling, and vacationing to Fort Myers beaches. More than anything in the world, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her children, Daniel (Kathryn) Boerner, Michael (Sherri) Boerner, Julie (Mark) Hanley; sister, Barbara (Edward) King; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer, Evan, Ian, Eli, and Owen.
Friends will be received 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery at 10 am, Tuesday, November 21st In Section 1
