Kevin Uziel De Jesus

Kevin Uziel De Jesus, age 18, passed away on July 20, 2025, at Metro Health Medical Center. He was born on April 17, 2007.

Kevin brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, coach, teammate, and friend.

He enjoyed playing soccer, lifintg, wrestling, listening to music, spending time with his family and friends, playing with his younger brothers, and had a passion for helping others. Kevin had a bright smile and a kind heart that touched everyone around him. Kevin's kindness and love for all was expressed every time he walked into a room and greeted everyone with a hug and a smile. 

Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Maria Ximena-Rangel, and his devoted father, Francisco De Jesus. He is also survived by his siblings Julius, Johnny, and Bentley, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will always cherish the memories they shared with him.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM at the church.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery, 385 Riverside Dr., Painesville, Ohio 44077. (Everyone is to meet at the cemetery.)

Kevin trajo alegría y luz a las vidas de todos los que lo conocieron. Fue un hijo, hermano, nieto, sobrino, primo, entrenador, compañero de equipo y amigo muy querido.

Disfrutaba jugar al fútbol, escuchar música, pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos, jugar con sus hermanos menores y tenía una gran pasión por ayudar a los demás. Kevin tenía una sonrisa brillante y un corazón amable que tocaba a todos los que estaban a su alrededor. La bondad de Kevin y su amor por todos se expresaban cada vez que entraba en una habitación y saludaba a todos con un abrazo y una sonrisa.

Kevin deja en vida a su amorosa madre, María Ximena-Rangel, y a su devoto padre, Francisco De Jesús. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Julius, Johnny y Bentley, abuelos, tías, tíos, primos y muchos amigos que siempre atesorarán los recuerdos compartidos con él.

Su partida dejará un profundo vacío en su familia y amigos.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 24 de julio de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica St. Mary, ubicada en 242 N. State St., Painesville. La Misa de Funeral Cristiano se celebrará a las 7:00 p.m., inmediatamente después del velorio, en la misma iglesia.

El servicio de entierro se realizará el viernes 25 de julio de 2025, a la 1:00 p.m. en el Cementerio Riverside, 385 Riverside Dr., Painesville, Ohio 44077. (Todos deben reunirse directamente en el cementerio.)
