Larry G. Young

Larry G. Young, age 82, of Painesville Twp. Ohio passed away February 16, 2024. He was born June 30, 1941, in Clarksburg, PA to Herbert and Dorothy (Myers) Young. 

He was a graduate of Collinwood High School "Class of 1959". Larry worked as a tool and die maker for Cosmo Plastics. He loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. 

Larry is survived by his dear companion, Barbara James; daughter, Dawn (Thomas) Takacs of Perry, OH; sister, Loretta (Jon) Coulter of Madison, OH.; grandchildren, Brandon (Alicia), Jaime Edgell; and great granddaughter, Layla. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Grady); son, Richard Young; brother, Harold Young and grandson, Bradley Edgell 

Family and friends will be received 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue Painesville, OH, with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Wester Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, OH.
