Laura G. Rossi

Laura G. Rossi, age 69, passed away April 26, 2023, in Madison, Ohio.  She was born December 3, 1953, in Euclid to Francis and Beverly (Jenkins) Rossi. For the majority of her life, she was a resident of Wickliffe, Ohio, where she lived with her mother. Laura graduated from Mentor High School in 1973 and worked as a carrier for The News Herald for many years.

Called Laurie by her friends and family, she was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and a member of Calvary Assembly of God. She regularly volunteered for the Salvation Army and several other local ministries. She was an avid bowler and loved arts and crafts.

During her life, Laurie blessed many people. She never forgot a birthday, remembered to send cards or colorful handmade notes to mark both happy and sad occasions, and cared for those in need however she was able. Laurie lived a life of gratitude, and received any gift, no matter how big or small, with an enthusiastic shout of “Thank you!” and often, a warm hug. Her warm smile and sense of humor brought joy to residents and staff at Cardinal Woods in her final years. 

Laura is survived by her brother, Anthony Rossi, and many friends who considered her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Rossi and Beverly Jenkins Rossi.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 17, 2023, at 6pm at Victory Lane Assembly of God Church, 7550 Bellflower Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
