Leonard M. Paradise, age 91, passed away peacefully August 23, 2020. He was born June 15, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Maria (Pietrofesa) Paradise.
Leonard (Len) served in the United States Army during the Korean War and many decades later was one of the few proud recipients of an Honor Flight. Sadly, he was never physically able to take the helicopter trip to Washington D.C. Until he was nearly 90 years old, Len was an active member of American Legion Post 336, VFW Post 2595. After his tour of duty in Korea, he returned to Cleveland and opened his first beverage store and deli and was self-employed for many years prior to becoming a sales manager for Paramount Distillers and their related wineries, for over 20 years. Len and his wife were active members in local senior citizens centers. He had a great work ethic, was an avid reader, and he enjoyed fishing and traveling. He especially enjoyed taking cruises with his wife, Connie.
Leonard is survived by his children, Lynore (Donald) Buck; Richard (Susan) Paradise; Noreen Paradise ; Timothy (Kathy Lyons) Paradise; Paula Stuebbe; and Nancy (Michael) Rufo; 13 grandchildren and 14 great -grandchildren and in addition 10 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance (Grobe) Paradise in 2013; sisters, Angela Russell, Teresa Paradise and Mae Pastel, Josephine Serafino; brother, Nicholas Paradise; and his parents.

Private Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020. Leonard was a man of faith and prayers on that day are appreciated.
