Lillian M. (Prasek) Kinder

Lillian (Lil) Kinder, age 66, passed away March 10, 2025 at her home in Painesville Twp surrounded by her family following a brief illness. She was born Oct. 15, 1958 in Painesville to Dave and Shirley Prasek.

Lil was an RN and proud alumni of Lakeland Community College. She had retired from her most recent position at Surgical Care Center, Painesville.

She enjoyed painting, sketching, knitting, crocheting, bike rides around the neighborhood, being Bubbee Lil for her grandkids and great-grandkids, and looking out for anyone she found in need. Lil volunteered at Project Hope. Above all she was a fervent prayer warrior for all.

Lil is survived by her husband, Ken; sons Jeff (Lezlie) and Bill (Danielle) Kinder; grandchildren Liam, Becca, Lauren (Aaron) Pippin, Nate (Jennie) Fahl, Erin (Phil) Lapish; great-grandchildren Kohen, Liviah, Moriah, Johanna, Levi, Owen, Eleanor, Maeve, Wynne, Roman and Genesis. She is also survived by her father, Dave (Judy) Prasek, sister, Carol (Joe) Chaykowsky, brothers, Dave (Barb) Prasek and Doug Prasek and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katie, and her mother.

Friends will be received Friday, March 14, 1:00-4:00 PM at Painesville Assembly of God Church, 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Rd, Painesville, OH. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Lil's memory to The Katie Scholarship at The Lakeland Foundation online or by mailing a check made payable to The Lakeland Foundation to 7700 Clocktower Dr., Kirtland, OH 44094. Please include "Katie Scholarship" in the memo line.
