Lisa M. (Martin) Franz

Lisa M. Franz was born in Euclid, Ohio on August 22, 1958, to Richard Martin and Carolyn Martin (Brooks). She passed away on August 12, 2025, at UH Geauga Hospital in Chardon.

She was very involved in Boxer rescue and loved animals of all kinds. She also enjoyed feeding all the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels on her deck. She cherished her time with her beloved grandchildren and children.

Lisa is survived by her daughters; Kelly McConnaughy, Karissa (Joe) Strailey and son David (Elizabeth) Franz. She was a loving Grandma to her Grandchildren; Hailey and Joshua McConnaughy, Kennedy and Paige Strailey, Koen and Jillian Franz, and Sarah Dixon. Siblings Dean Mize, Marc Martin and Tolisa Horning.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, GeorgeAnn Martin and siblings Amy Beth Martin and Todd Mize Gauchat.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 17th at Grand River Baptist Church (742 Madison Ave., Painesville, OH, 44077) 3:00pm- 5:00pm with a service from 5:00pm-6:00pm.
