A get-together to Celebrate the Life of Louis Joseph “Joe” Kloski will be held August 1, 2021, at the Fairport Harbor Senior Center located at 1380 East Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio.
Guests are welcome between 1:00 – 4:00 PM, with Air Force honors of flag folding, flag presentation and “Taps” occurring at 2:00 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
A private funeral celebration was held for the family shortly after Lou “Joe” passed away on April 1, 2021.
Louis J. Kloski, age 84, passed away April 1, 2021, at Chardon Healthcare Center in Chardon, Ohio. He was born October 19, 1936 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to Louis Leo and Mary (Fecak) Kloski.
Louis was a Golden Gloves boxer. He served as a pilot in the United States Air Force from 1954 through 1958. He was a police officer and worked for the Village of Fairport Harbor and worked in the Tactical Operations Unit in Tuscon, Arizona. Louis also worked as a security guard for Security Systems.
He was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church.
Louis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann (Halleck) Kloski; children, Mary Wilkinson, John (Tina) Kloski, Debra Kloski and Mike (Renee) Kloski; grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie, and Nicholas (Emily) Wilkinson, Matt Kloski, Lauren, Emma and Maddie Kloski; great-grandson, Noah Wilkinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
