Lucienne Thomas Obituary

Lucienne (Gilles) Thomas, age 93, of Painesville, formerly of Toledo, passed away January 30, 2020 at her residence in Painesville.

Lucienne was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti June 11, 1926 to Victor and Eugenia (Brea) Gilles.

She was a pediatric nurse (it was her passion) at Toledo Hospital for many years. Lucienne enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and loved babies.

Lucienne is survived by her daughter, Maria Lister of Painesville; sons, Claude (Christy) Thomas of Dayton and Marc Thomas of Toledo; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made in her name to Operation Christmas Child , a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse
