Marc A Falcone

It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Marc A. Falcone, age 68, on September 11, 2025, at his home in Concord Township.  He was born August 25, 1957, in Painesville to Anthony and Lourdean (Loxterman) Falcone.

Marc was a chemist and worked for Lubrizol for many years.  He received his Master’s Degree from John Carroll University.  He also worked in the Lab for the University Hospitals in Cleveland before retiring.

Those who knew him would describe Marc as a deep thinker, kind, and selfless. Marc found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved working outdoors—both at his own home and helping others. He enjoyed hiking and relaxing at his cabin in Pennsylvania, bargain-hunting for a good deal, fishing on Lake Erie with friends, and, above all, spending time with his family and especially his three grandchildren.

Marc is survived by his wife, Judith (Podsedly) Falcone; son, Nicholas (Catrina) Falcone;  daughter, Olivia (Stephan) Nemeth; sisters, Paula Falcone and JoMarie Falcone; brother, Tomasso “Tom” Falcone (Michael Sabol); grandchildren, Emerson Falcone, Waylon Falcone, Fiona Nemeth and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will be received 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 20th, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9025 Johnnycake Cake Ridge Road, Concord Township, Ohio.  PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Gabriel Food Pantry, where Marc enjoyed volunteering his time.
