Margaret "Sue" (Blevins) Oaks

Margaret “Sue” Oaks, 83, of Eastlake, passed away April 1, 2025, at University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. She was born September 21,1941, in Dryden, Virginia to the late Sam and Myrtle (Huff) Blevins.

Sue was happily married for 52 years to Glen Oaks when he preceded her death. They spent the first part of their marriage in Eastlake before moving to Mentor in 1986 and were members of Grace Church of Mentor.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband Glen Oaks; daughter Glenda Oaks; sister Jo Ann Johnston; brothers, Hubert, John, and Bill Blevins.

Survivors include her daughter Donna (Jerry Aruta) Travis; son James Oaks; grandchildren, Sara Nagle, Michele Travis, Samuel (Morgan) Oaks, Kali (Ethan) Russell, great-grandchildren John “JJ” Nagle, Wesley Anuszewski, Samara Oaks, Charlee Russell and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services and interment will be in Mentor Cemetery, Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
