Mark Albert Reed

Mark Albert Reed, age 77, passed away May 14, 2021 at UHHS Geauga Medical Center in Chardon.  He was born April 15, 1944 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Albert and Frances (Boyle) Reed.

Mark was a control room operator for Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company for many years.  He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, where he was a 3rd Degree Knight, and he was a member of the GTO Enthusiasts. 

Mark is survived by his wife Christine Ann (Hammond) Reed; sons, Matthew (Shelli) Reed, Luke (Julie) Reed and John Paul (Sue) Reed; daughters, Ann Reed and Jennifer Reed; sister, Donna Schulz; and eighteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Reed; sister, Jane (Reed) Messmore.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, Ohio.   Family and friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 19th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.
