Mark Edward Thompson

Mark Edward Thompson, Age 68, Passed away June 5, 2024, at home. He was born May 5, 1956, in Painesville to the late Robert B. Thompson and Mary Jane Thompson (Amiott). Mark courageously battled Glioblastoma brain cancer for 18 months.

Mark was a 1974 graduate of Riverside High School and after joined the United States Army (1977-1979). He spent most of his career at Automatic Music & Vending but the last 4 years at All Craft Wellman in Willoughby before retirement.

Mark is survived by his wife of 36 years, Deborah (Ingle) Thompson, children Stacy Malady (John) and Renee Gething (Dominic) and grandchildren Jessica Gething (Colin), Anthony Gething (Erin), Trevor Gething, Clara Malady and Della Malady. He also leaves behind his sister Linda Lambert (Bill), brothers Bob (Laurie), David, Bill (Danielle), Scott (Kathleen) and many nieces, nephews, friends and his buddy boy, Finn. 

Mark loved a good joke, good music and spending time with family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
