Mary Catherine Kull, age 90, passed away August 13, 2024, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township. She was born October 20, 1933, in Cleveland to Earl S. and Lillian (Lund) Galloway.
Mary was a 5th generation member of The Salvation Army church and served as a Salvation Army officer (clergy) for many years. During her time as an officer, and all throughout her life, she taught many adults and children about the love of Jesus thru Bible stories using many types of creative illustrations. She also worked for JoAnne Fabrics as a craft instructor. Mary enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband, Franklyn E. Kull; daughters: Major Susan Jean (A. Philip) Ferreira, Patti Ann (Bob) Dacey, Wendy Lou (David) DeGraff, Lois Elaine (Darren Amerkanian) Avery; stepdaughters: Margaret C. Carpenter and Tammie (Daniel) Simmons; stepson: Franklyn (Jill) Kull; and fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Gladys Jean (Glen) Fergus.
Friends will be received 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday, August 19, 2024, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Major A. Philip Ferreira will officiate. The burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
