Mary A. (Brainard) Tribby

Mary A. Tribby, age 87, passed away May 1, 2023, at her home in Painesville Township.  She was born May 26, 1935, in Painesville to Stuart and Ann (Kolesar) Brainard. Her husband spent over 20 years in the Army, so she was fortunate to live in Ohio as well as Texas, where her children were both born. The family also lived in and visited several countries in Europe. Once her husband retired, the family settled back home here in Ohio to be near to family.

Mary attended Painesville United Methodist Church.  She worked outside the home in various industries for several years. 

She mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially at restaurants or wineries, and an occasional trip to one of the local casinos.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Deborah Burton and Carolynn Tribby; brother, Philip (Sandra) Brainard; grandchild, Tori Burton Robinson; great grandchildren, Darian, Keandra and Jacaya.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tribby in 1997 and her parents.

Friends will be received 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday, May 8, 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
