Mary Ann (Halleck) Kloski

Mary Ann Kloski, age 84, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio passed away March 20, 2023, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp., Ohio. She was born August 2, 1938, in Painesville, Ohio, to John and Mary (Mamrak) Halleck.

Mary Ann had worked as an Executive Secretary for the Diamond Shamrock and then for the Lake County Prosecutor’s office where she retired.

She was a member of the St. Michael’s Ladies Aid, the Painesville Women’s Chorus for 50 years, the Diamond Shamrock Lunch Bunch, and a member of the Fairport Harbor Mardi Gras Committee. Mary Ann was a wonderful mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She called her grandchildren on their first day of school since 1989, even when they continued into college. She enjoyed betting a Snickers bar with her grandchildren for the Super Bowl.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary Ann’s name to the Fairport Harbor Police and Fire Departments.

Mary Ann was preceded in her death by her parents, her brothers, Ed and Jack Halleck, and her husband of 62 years, Louis Joseph Kloski.   She is survived by her children; Mary Wilkinson of Greensboro, NC, John (Tina) Kloski of Chardon, Debra Kloski of Mentor, Michael (Renee) Kloski of Mentor; grandchildren, Amanda Wilkinson, Stephanie Wilkinson, Nicholas (Emily) Wilkinson, Matt Kloski, Lauren Kloski, Emma Kloski, Madeline Kloski; and great-grandchild Noah Wilkinson.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, March 25, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 523 Plum Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio.

Friends will be received from 9:00 – 10:00 AM before the mass at the church.
