Mary Jo (D'Abate) Miller

Mary Jo Miller, age 59, passed away August 18, 2024, at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born November 29, 1964, in Painesville to James and Mary (Cawley) D’Abate.

Mary Jo worked as a bus aide for Riverside Local Schools for many years. She often spoke fondly of the relationships she created with students in the district, often keeping their school photos on her refrigerator. She enjoyed reading anything she could get her hands on, solving sudoku puzzles in record time, watching true crime shows and sharing her love for horses with her children and friends. She especially loved caring for her children and the kids in the Riverside Community.

Mary Jo is survived by her daughter, Paige (Zack) Novak; son, Anthony Miller; brother, Jeff (Esther) D’Abate; sisters, Eileen (Thomas) Harris and Terri D’Abate.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kevin D’Abate and Brian D’Abate.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in care of the family for the benefit of Mary Jo's son, Anthony James "AJ" Miller.

Private Family Services will be held.
