Maryann C. Sevits Obituary

Maryann C. Sevits, age, 73, passed away August 5, 2021, at her residence in Painesville, surrounded by her family and loved ones.  She was born November 18, 1947, in Painesville to John and Helen (Vayo) Bezzeg.

Maryann was a life-long Painesville resident and was an elementary teacher for St. Anthony’s School.  She enjoyed playing bingo and taking gambling trips.

Maryann is survived by her husband Kenneth C. Sevits; sons, John (Gwen) Sevits and Robert (Cloudy Fade) Sevits; daughter, Marisa (Mauricio) Duarte; grandchildren, Natalie Sevits, Paige Sevits, Courtney Sevits, Matthew Sevits, Kathryn Duarte, and Adrianna Duarte; and former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Vittek.

The family would like to thank Elara Caring Hospice Care, her amazing caretakers, Ashley, Laura, Kendall, Brandi, and Bree.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Waltman.

Private family services will be held.
